- VeChain-powered my Care solution introduced into the Maritime sector
- The new VeChain-based solution was introduced via DNV GL
- My Care’s assessment framework can be utilized in other sectors
VeChain News Today – DNV GL has taken a new approach to tackle the management of the risk of infection as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The firm has implemented the VeChain-powered My Care solution to its maritime clients particularly customers who wish to return to business quickly. By scanning the QR-code built-in to My Care trust and storing the data on VeChain to enhance trust, DNV GL’s Maritime customers can enjoy a friendly approach.
This approach can be deployed in the management of the risk of infection. It can give firms assurance during the coronavirus period. The latest move by DNV GL was revealed by the firm’s Head of Corporate Communications, Tomas Barrett, in a recent press release.
My Care Health Assessment Framework can be Utilized in Other Sectors
My Care combines best practices when it comes to risk management, safety rating standards and healthcare, Health and Safety Executive, as well as quality management systems. Even though My Care is currently being deployed to the maritime sector, DNV GL said its assessment framework can also be deployed in other industries.
DNV GL recently released CIP-M. CIP-M is a certification standard that is used to assure infection prevention on cruisers and other types of vessels. This isn’t the same as My Care. Luca Crisciotti, DNV GL’s CEO of business assurance, said third-party verification will make sure there is an adequate measure, data security, transparency, and safety. While the coronavirus lasts, the DNV GL chief said companies can get back the trust of their employees, passengers, and stakeholders with efficient communication with the infection risk prevention and the mitigation approach offered by My Care.
My Care Guarantees Trusted Communication
My Care assessment services give companies the ability to display and share all necessary/important information online or onboard their vessels. This automatically guarantees trusted communication. My Care offers the ability to measure infection risk management which gives information about how mature the company’s existing processes are.
According to DNV GL, ferry firm Viking Line and Finnish cruise have deployed the solution already and are the first to do so. According to the report they have already covered six terminals and seven vessels. Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen, the CEO of DNV GL, Maritime, said My Care offers an advantage to the CIP-M (the certification of infection prevention in maritime) that was launched recently by DNV GL. This lets firms meet the present and future challenges in the maritime sector.
All data collected with the My Care assessment services are reportedly stored on VeChain for transparency and immutability. My Care allows firms to implement hospital-level risk infection management in vessels. DNV GL launched this solution last month.
