- Cardano Has Been Tagged Ethereum Killer Along With Other Next-Generation Blockchains
- With the Cardano Shelley on the Way, it Might be the Only Blockchain that Has What it Takes to Overtake Ethereum
Cardano News Today – Ethereum is the world’s foremost decentralized computer. On the Ethereum blockchain, people can create decentralized applications and smart contracts. However, the Ethereum blockchain is fundamentally flawed. Several blockchains have been created to fix some of these flaws. These blockchains have targeted things like a lack of scalability, and centralization. They are called Ethereum Killers. The only Ethereum Killer that might stand a chance to take Ethereum out is Cardano. Thanks to the Cardano Shelley mainnet launch, the blockchain will become more decentralized and more scalable than Ethereum.
Cardano News Today – Cardano is the Only Ethereum Killer That Matters
Ever since the Cardano blockchain was released 5 years ago, the development team has been working on introducing the final version, the Shelley version. Finally, everything is set and Shelley is scheduled to be released in a few weeks. Apart from complete decentralization, Shelley will also make the blockchain more energy efficient. It will come with new incentive schemes, hard fork combinator, a secure consensus, and many other features that will make it one of a kind.
Keep in mind that Ethereum isn’t just going to sit around and wait for Cardano to take its place. Ethereum developers are already working on the final version of Ethereum, Ethereum 2.0. They hope to fix the scalability problem on the network to make it faster and pave the way for global adoption. However, Cardano intends to beat Ethereum to the party. Both networks are proposing interesting upgrades and choosing between the two isn’t going to be easy. Also, Cardano is still a long way from beating Ethereum in terms of market capitalization.

“I don’t have to go and tell everybody that we are gonna overcome the great Ethereum Beast. I just let them do their thing; let them prove that they are as big as they say”.
