The co-founder and partner at Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano has recently stated that if the San Francisco based Blockchain initiative company ripple is successful in the long term, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s token will be too.
Speaking in an interview with the founder of TechCrunch, Michael Arrington, Pompliano gave his views on the company and its future. At first, Arrington explained how we started TechCrunch and got involved in the crypto world as well as speaking very highly of the token from the San Francisco-based blockchain company and how we even teamed up with the CEO of the firm, Brad Garlinghouse in the past.
This all took place in the latest episode of the Pomp podcast the well-known bitcoin enthusiast spoke with Arrington on many issues ranging from the crypto space to United States politics and the current state of the world.
Highlighting that he never actually was interested in bitcoin, Arrington said that he later bought some bits going on Coinbase which he later found that its value had appreciated significantly.
Later in the conversation, Arrington admitted that he is in love with the token from ripple. He said that it serves a very important purpose but on the other side, Pompliano explained that the company wants to build better software for banks and that it is a no-brainer.
Interestingly, he finds the company’s relationship with the token strange but does understand why they utilise it as a part of the overall product as he sees the advantages it can have on the ecosystem of ripple.
