John McAfee’s wife Janice has raised doubts about her husband’s death in prison for suicide.
In reality, doubts were raised from the first moment on the way in which his death occurred , so the perplexities of the wife are not the classic outlet of those who lose a loved one by suicide and remain incredulous in front of the drama.
In particular, Janice claims that the handwriting of the note that she would have left McAfee before committing suicide is suspicious , so much so that she doubts its authenticity.
It also says:
“It looks more like someone trying to mimic John’s tweeting style. And if this card was found in your pocket, where are the signs of the folded card in your pocket? “
The handwriting is suspect & I doubt the authenticity of the note. It reads more like someone trying to imitate John’s style of tweeting. And if this note was found in his pocket where are the markings of the note being folded into his pocket? #NotASuicideNote #JustForJohnMcAfee

In addition, she also published a photograph of the farewell note found in her husband’s pocket, in which in fact there are no signs of folding. Also according to Janice this card doesn’t sound at all like someone who’s lost all hope and is thinking about taking their own life, but it looks more like one of John’s classic tweets.
John McAfee’s Doubts About Suicide
However, even before the publication of the photo of this note, there were doubts about McAfee’s suicide.
First of all, a few years ago he himself had said that, in case he was found dead from a hypothetical suicide, it would have been a hoax, because he would never have committed suicide. While this may not be proof, it is curious how in the end it seems to have turned out this way.
Furthermore, what just does not add up is that McAfee was held prisoner in Spain, and had repeatedly requested extradition to his country of origin, the USA, without obtaining it. Well, on the same day as his alleged suicide it was learned that he had finally gotten it.
It is really difficult to understand how he could have decided to commit suicide on the very day he learned that he had finally obtained the extradition he had been asking for for some time. Indeed, this circumstance feeds the doubt that his extradition may actually have been unwelcome by someone.
John McAfee was expected in the US to be questioned both about his alleged tax evasion, but also for possibly illicitly promoting some crypto projects through his Twitter profile.
However, given that the suicide took place in a Spanish prison, it will be difficult for the US authorities to investigate this matter.
