Who will provide the training is Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, through its investigations department. In addition, invited government bodies will join PF investigators in training.
During the workshop, Binance will address topics such as blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts, Binance’s anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
In addition, investigators will learn about the processes and tools developed by the company to collaborate with authorities in the fight against cyber and financial crimes.
For security reasons, Binance has not confirmed which days were chosen for the training to take place.
The event will have the participation of two renowned speakers with international experience. In addition, Binance’s investigation specialist in Latin America, Brazilian Renato Barreto, will be present.
Joining Barreto will be Matt Price, Binance’s Head of Intelligence and Investigations in the Americas. Prior to joining Binance, Price was a Criminal Investigation Special Agent for the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
