Visa files trademark applications for crypto wallets, NFTs and Metaverse.

Payments giant Visa filed two trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office related to digital wallets, non-fungible tokens, and the metaverse. The move follows that of other large corporations and payment companies, including American Express.

The Litecoin-Dollar pair fell 2.3% in the last session after gaining as much as 1.5%. The CCI is giving a negative signal. Support is at 53.4867 and resistance is at 59.0467.

JP Construction Orders

The Construction Orders released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism shows the number of orders received by construction companies. Japan’s Construction Orders will be released at 05:00 GMT, Italy’s Gross Domestic Product at 09:00 GMT, and Japan’s Annualized Housing Starts at 05:00 GMT.

IT Gross Domestic Product

The Gross Domestic Product is a measure of the total value of all goods and services produced by a country. The GDP is considered as a broad measure of economic activity and health.

JP Annualized Housing Starts

The Annualized Housing Starts captures how many new single-family homes or buildings were constructed on an annualized basis. It is a key indicator of the housing market.

AU Retail Sales

The Retail Sales measures the total receipts of retail stores. Monthly percent changes reflect the rate of change of such sales. Australia’s Retail Sales will be released at 00:30 GMT, the US Chicago Purchasing Managers’ Index at 13:45 GMT, the Eurozone’s HICP at 10:00 GMT.

The Chicago Purchasing Managers Index released by ISM-Chicago captures the business conditions across Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.


The HICP is a measure of price movements or inflation harmonized across EU Member States. It is similar to the national Consumer Price Indices (CPI).
